On September of 2000 for initiative of the bassist Davide Stura (former Nybbas and Sorrow / Screaming) and of the drummer Damiano Mazzoli (former Absinthium and Sorrow / Screaming), to that unite themselves the guitarist Michele Molinari and the screamer Andrea Cultrera (former Absinthium), are born ANY FACE. After a first period, the line up is stabilized with the entrance of Sara Usai (vocals & keys) (former Sorrow / Screaming and Nybbas) and with the arrival of Giorgio Bianchi like second guitarist.
With this line up, lasted until the September 2003 with the leakage of Michele Molinari, ANY FACE recorded a demo ("Demo 2001") and an EP ("Hallucination"). The promotion intense activity carries the band to play on some of the most important national platforms (Rainbow and Mazdapalace to Milan, Tempio to Pavia and other) accompanying some important bands of the national and international scene (Linea 77, Karnak and others).
On October 2003, the band comes called to participate with the track “S.O.S." to an important compilation ("New Noise Compilation", published from R. L. S. Record) that accommodates some of the more promising bands of the Italian underground.
In 2005 ANY FACE enter again the studio to record their first album ("Craving Out Of Mist"), that goes out for the French label Deadsun Records on February 2006.
After some months from the release, because of musical and personal divergences between the components of the band, the formation comes revolutionized.
On November 2007 ANY FACE reborn. After a period of arrangement, the line up (de)composed by Yuri Bianchi(vocals from The Bloodline Propaganda, former Hybris, Electrocution and Addiction Crew), the guitarist Antonio Pollizzi (former Ancestral Stigmata and former Kosmophobia), the bassist Davide Stura (former Ancestral Stigmata) and the drummer Antonio Marcon (former Ancient) enter the Fear Studio of Ravenna to record a new promo ("Deaf Songs For A Dead World") on November 2008 with Alex Guadagnoli (Addiction Crew, former Electrocution) like producer. In a song appears like guest Mick Montaguti (Days of Fury, former Electrocution).
After the recording sessions of "D.S.F.A.D.W.", in november 2008 Antonio Marcon left the band for personal reasons. In the meantime Davide, Tony and Yuri worked on some new stuff with a look 'round to find a new drummer for the band....and, after a little bit, Omar Cappetti (Ancestral Stigmata, and already part of the band for a few months in 2006) returned in Any Face on february 2009.
